ABOUT ME

Designing through a Caribbean lens
“
Welcome to my graphic design portfolio!
Cayman-born and U.S.-based, I’m a graphic designer and studio artist who turns culture, identity, and nature into bold visual stories. I'm passionate about using my range of artistic talents to capture these unique perspectives and bring them to life through design.
I’m a Graphic Designer and Artist who grew up in the Cayman Islands, a place that continues to shape who I am as both a person and an artist. Surrounded by the beauty of the sea and the richness of island culture, I have always had a deep well of inspiration to draw from. My background gives me a unique perspective on design projects, and I often find myself weaving together themes of environmental preservation, cultural heritage, and the psychological depth of artistic expression.
While design is at the core of my studies, I also love working with hands-on mediums like printmaking and studio art, which allow me to explore themes of cultural identity, environmental preservation, and the impact of overpopulation and global warming. These practices feed into one another and allow me to experiment with new ways of telling these stories visually. I have been fortunate to have my work exhibited in juried shows at the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami, which has been both humbling and motivating as I continue developing my creative voice.
At the heart of my practice is the desire to connect lived experience with visual expression. Whether through design or fine art, I am always searching for ways to create work that feels meaningful to myself as well as to the communities and cultures I am connected to.
